The Government of Laos, with support from the World Bank, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, AuSAID and JSDF has set up the Poverty Reduction Fund (PRF) to deliver small scale development project including support to livelihood activities at the Kum ban and Village levels. The project is now seeking for a Photographer Consultant:

The purpose of the assignment is to to provide appropriate photos representing PRF core values and operations within the “community driven development” approach. This is for PRF materials to be able to convey key PRF messages and information to the public and target audience with professional manner and acceptable photographic elements which will be used in the PRF branding and identity.
Specifically, the objectives are to:
- Shoot photographs digitally with RAW format to ensure that high quality is maintained at large scale printing (A4 or above).
- Provide at least 3 photographs of each subject matter from different perspectives and/or angles. The photos shall be free off effects, retouched (only if necessary), edited and color-corrected and presented in TIFF format. They shall be recorded in DVDs.
- Shoot photographs accordingly to PRF core values, principles and as guided by IEC strategies.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Excellent in knowledge of the relevant photography, design skills and software such as Page Maker, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator, In Design
- Solid experience / very professional in photograph shooting can be proofed by his/her previous products
- Experiences with development projects using participatory approach is an asset
- Knowledge of development issues and understanding of rural cultures is an asset
- Creative and conceptualization skills
- Ability to grasp ideas quickly, thinks creatively, take initiative and be innovative
- Fluent in English is an asset
- Women are encouraged to apply
